Celebrating Lake Sturgeon with Beer!

Clean water is important for many things. What is the number one ingredient in beer?! Water. But not just any water — it has to be clean, healthy water. Clean water is vital not only for Lake Sturgeon, but also for the communities, businesses, and traditions that depend on it.
To celebrate the 2025 sturgeon release, local brewers across the Saginaw Bay Watershed have stepped up with commemorative beers, each specially named in honor of these ancient fish and the rivers they live in.

Flavor: Piney, juicy and hazy
Beer is brewed with Michigan-native Mackinac hops for a nice up-north pine and citrus punch
Each beer purchase helps support the Friends of the Shiawassee River, a Saginaw Bay Sturgeon Restoration partner.
